Lately.....

So lately I have received some questions about how do we know if we have "Faith" of if we have "Faith" in the right things?

So today I just want to offer some encouragement.

God is not a God Of confusion. He is a God of clarity. When the day came and you were chosen By God to be a follower you were not confused about it. You knew you wanted to do it. You wanted to accept Christ as your Savior and Lord. Some people ask do you feel different right away afterwards. I did. You may not. Remember not everyone reacts to things the same way. One thing I do know if you're living for Christ you will defiantly have a harder tug to not do the things you were doing before. It says in the bible "In the beginning was the Word.

The Word was with God and the Word is God." The "word" they are talking about is "Life". Think about it. What is life as a believer of God without His word? God is life. Without Him we are dead. Now the idea of having "Faith" I know I just went along way out of my way but I felt like that needed to be said.

"Faith" Is a personal thing. "Faith is the ability to believe something without seeing it. When you don't have a physical firsthand knowledge of something, it's defiantly not something that is really easy for everyone do. Now the words "Faith" and "Believe" are used a lot together and are a lot of times interchangeable. But here they are not.

To believe in God you have to have "Faith". Not just that the Bible is right. Not just that He is real. You have to have "Faith" that He is the high and almighty God. He is the creator of our world and everything in it. To believe all of this to some people may just be no big deal. Some people need physical proof. I have known people in my past that told me if God reveals himself to them then they will accept him. All god wants is for us to believe in Him, love him and he will do the same for us.

Now if there are any of you out there who are questioning if you are saved by the blood of Christ. Or feel the tug towards God But aren't sure how to accept him Glory and love, it is actually very simple. Christ laid it out very simple for us. No one goes to the Father except through Him (Jesus).

You must thank God for what he has done for you, such as the sacrifice of his only begotten son. You must accept that it happened for you and for all of us. And finally you have to try and live your life according to his word. You won't be perfect. We are going to screw up and make mistakes. So that we would be covered for all of little transgressions, is why he gave salvation to us. Because if you think about it and you accept His salvation you will want to live a better life. You will want to put Him first. If you do He will put you first. You see there aren't a whole bunch of hoops to jump through. There are no rituals to be performed. It is a personal decision. And God wanted it that way. That's why He gave us free will. He wants us to choose to follow Him and love Him.

So how do you know if you have "Faith" in the right thing?

I can't tell you that.

Pray to God ask for guidance.

Then open your eyes and heart.

You're probably missing all of the signs that are right in front of you to begin with.
